It’s safe to say that life can be challenging sometimes. While we have many differences, a wounded heart is something we all share. I don’t know a single person who has escaped this life without experiencing the pain of loss, betrayal, or a broken heart. Maybe that’s your story today.
In times of suffering and pain, we tend to question our previously unquestioned beliefs. The integrity of our worldview is put to the test like a bridge trembling during an earthquake. Does yours pass the test?
When pain feels overwhelming, philosophical theories don’t cut it. What we need is a person to come alongside and comfort us. Jesus is God’s personal response to our pain. He knows what it’s like because he experienced it, and he promises to give us HIS peace in the midst of it.
