Christmas at Sherwood Oaks
Join us this holiday season at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church!
This Christmas, we’ll journey through the lives of the women who stood at the heart of the Christmas story. From Mary’s courageous “yes” to God’s plan, to Elizabeth’s faith in God’s promises, and Anna’s bold proclamation of the Savior’s arrival — these women embodied faithfulness and fearlessness as they embraced God’s extraordinary plan in the midst of uncertainty. Their courageous, faith-filled responses offer us valuable lessons on trusting God when life feels uncertain, standing strong in difficult times, and boldly proclaiming hope in a world that desperately needs it.
We'll be exploring:
- Eve (December 1)
- Bathsheba (December 8)
- Elizabeth (December 15)
- Mary (December 22)
- Anna (December 29)
We hope you'll join us each week in December for this series. If you should miss a week, you can always catch up on our YouTube channel or website or subscribe to our podcast.
On this page, you'll find information about all the upcoming Christmas activities for both campuses and various ministries on this page! We do hope you have a Merry Christmas!

December 1-30 - Season of Care
Jesus said: "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21 NIV) Time, Talent, Treasure... We all have those three things. This holiday season, we would like to encourage you to spend some of your time, talent and treasure caring for others. Click the link below to find some local and global opportunities to make a difference through care. Identify one or two that you, your family or connect group can get passionate about and invest in.
