Growing up in Indiana gave me a deep appreciation for the four seasons. As a child, nothing could beat summer, but the older I get, Spring is becoming my favorite time of year.
After a cold, dark winter, the sun begins to warm the earth again. Grass turns green, trees bud, and flowers bloom. The death of winter gives way to the new life of Spring. All around us, creation is proclaiming the good news of Jesus.
You see, our world can often feel like a cold, dark place, and that darkness has a way of creeping into our lives, too. We feel it and we experience it in our relationships with others.
But Jesus came as the light of the world. He showed us how to live and love. And through faith in his life, death, and resurrection, we are made new. Feeling the effects of darkness in your life today? Turn to Jesus and find the new life your heart desires.
