God is worthy of our praise. He is worthy to be the Director of our life. He knows exactly what is right for us. He is never wrong.
Psalm 100 tells us that the Lord endures forever. He will forever be faithful to his children.
Everything in the scriptures is based upon God's love, grace and peace, which we fully see and understand in Jesus; our
example - the God man. We identify with God because God is Jesus. Jesus is fully God and fully man. He experienced everything that we experience, but as a sinless person. So, we have a God that we can fully identify with. He is not a statue. He is not a concept. He is not a teaching. He is God inhuman flesh. He cries, He laughs, He suffers, and He rejoices in every way just as we do.
Jesus, just like us, is a soul. We see this in Matthew 26:38. His soul rejoiced, his soul suffered, his soul connected in love to the father and to his disciples; us. Jesus fed his soul with the word of God. He even told us that the word of God was more valuable as food than bread.
Read the scriptures and put yourself in the image of what God is saying. Listen for his still small, quiet, peaceful voice. It will come as you hear a word or phrase in the passage. God is drawing your attention to the message in that word or phrase. That is God‘s voice. Learn to identify it, learn to hear it, and you will hear him every day speaking, not only from the Bible, but in many different ways; including your thoughts, in music and what other people say, and many other ways. Identify the voice of God. You can always count on God speaking his voice - a personal message to you. If you know it came from the Bible, you know it will be correct and truth.
It is so very important to see God speaking in his word. As you hide his word in your heart, God will use it in acts of wisdom to not only protect you and keep you safe, but to show you how to be prosperous in his kingdom. In your family. At your work. In your relationships.
Meditate on God's word. The eastern religions try to copy what the Bible tells us to do. When we meditate on scripture, we are thinking about placing our concentration upon a phrase or a word. We are removing all distractions away from our world and our life as we get quiet. Jesus was a master at going and getting quiet before the Father. Concentrating on what the Father was telling him to do. Meditation is simply repeat concentrating on that one idea. We allow the truth to soak deep into our soul.
The word God showed me in the Psalms this morning is gladness. I am so glad I am so happy. I am ecstatic over who God is. I do not want this world to rob me of anything. I will be glad before the Lord. It is a theme I will meditate on today. And when I feel anything other than gratefulness and gladness, I will be reminded of his message, his voice spoken to me Sunday morning. God spoke this message to me during the worship time. When I come into Sunday morning, worship expecting, and paying attention, and having a right attitude of worshiping him, He always speaks a personal message to me. He will do this not only on Sunday morning, but every day if we will just get quiet and concentrate on learning to listen to him. So, I will be glad and not allow the world to rob me of this joy. My meditation will be repeating over and over, concentrating on everything that I am glad about. God has led me to this to help me to find victory and joy in my life.
