My family has been traveling this week. My 5-year-old got to see the ocean for the first time. She's been to the Great Lakes of Michigan (which in my opinion is basically the same as the ocean... and a lot closer but anyway...). I do wish I could have looked straight through her eyes with her, felt the first touch of Florida sand through her tiny toes!
As we went about our day, I tried to take a moment to reflect on the vastness of God's love and presence. Just as the ocean is deep and wide, so is His love for you and for me. When we dive into the scriptures, specifically the Psalms, let's allow them to wash over us, and find comfort in knowing that no matter where we are, God's hand will guide us, and His right hand will hold us fast.
