Every year, millions of children around the world receive Christmas gifts and the gift of the Gospel through Operation Christmas Child and Samaritan's Purse. Last year, Sherwood Oaks collected over 14,000 gifts through our church and as a regional collection site. You, your family or connect group have an opportunity this fall to be part of sharing the Gospel and a simple Christmas gift. Pick up a shoebox at Sherwood Oaks starting on Sunday, October 20. Fill it up (click here for more information on how to do that) and bring it back between November 18 and 25. Additionally, you, your family or connect group can volunteer to help collect, pack and prepare some of those shoeboxes to be shipped to Samaritan's Purse November 18-25.
